Entrance to Hinchingbrooke is gained through the Gatehouse installed by Sir Henry Cromwell in the mid 1500s. Around the gravel drive, passing 'The Apostles', brings you into the Entrance Hall with its fireplace decorated with the Montagu arms. The
Bar is found in this room, nestled neatly into the window alcove to the left of the main entrance and backed by stained glass depicting the arms of Oliver Cromwell and the School.
