The spectacular setting of Hinchingbrooke House provides a unique location for Wedding Receptions, Civil Marriages, Civil Partnerships and Renewal of Vows Ceremonies. Access to the house is gained via a Medieval Gateway and Apostles' Green immediately capturing some of the charm of this ancestral home of the Cromwells and the Earls of Sandwich.

At Hinchingbrooke the grounds are reserved for all wedding parties from 11am to 12midnight. With so many beautiful rooms to choose from, you can plan your day exactly how you would like it to be. A reception room upstairs with a balcony overlooking the magnificent grounds is also allocated to the bride and groom for the day.

In 1995 Hinchingbrooke House was licensed for civil marriage ceremonies. All of the large rooms on the ground floor are suitable for ceremonies and can be arranged to suit the specific needs of the wedding party. The Lettings Manager will discuss the format of your ceremony with you and can provide advice on all aspects of the marriage at which he/she has to be present to assist the registrars. Couples need to contact the Registry Office independently to arrange the date and time of their ceremony.

An extensive range of menus and wines is provided by Hinchingbrooke Catering Service and the Functions Manager will be happy to meet you and discuss your exact requirements. In addition, The Functions Manager is available to advise you on the timings of the day, usage of rooms, seating plan, the position of the wedding cake and all the many other fine details which ensure the day is a great success.

Viewings:
If you are interested in holding your Wedding at Hinchingbrooke House we recommend you attend a viewing. You will be guided through the House by our experienced Wedding Co-ordinator, who will explain all the rooms and what they can be used for and answer any questions you may have. You will then have the opportunity to look around the House by yourselves after the viewing.

Smaller Ceremonies & Weddings
If you are thinking of having a smaller affair for your ceremony or Wedding, we would be happy to discuss your specific requirements. Hinchingbrooke House is available to hire midweek (Monday to Thursday, excluding Bank Holidays, during the school holidays), days which may be perfect for a more low-key intimate occasion.
